Physics of Atomic Nuclei (PAN) is a free week-long program for U.S. high school students, exploring atomic nuclei's fundamentals and their connections to astrophysics and cosmology, inspiring future scientists.

Physicists Inspiring the Next Generation (PING): Exploring the Nuclear Matter is a two-week nuclear physics program at FRIB, pairing pre-college students with undergraduate mentors.
MSU, FRIB, and the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility host an annual competition for pre-college students highlighting scientists and engineers who have excelled at or contributed to the fields of nuclear science or accelerator science and engineering.
Students can meet one or more researchers to discuss the life of a scientist and see them in action.
This seven-week research experience pairs high school students with research groups across the MSU campus.
